Measles Outbreak
There is a new outbreak of measles in Bristol.
- Measles is an extremely infectious disease.
- The MMR vaccination provides immunity against measles.
- If you think your child has not had their MMR vaccine please contact the Surgery to book an appointment.
If you think you, or a family member, have been infected by measles, please Do Not Come Into The Surgery.
Please telephone the practice on 0117 9557711
You will be booked to speak with a GP and then will be invited into the surgery at a specific time.
We will ask you to wait in your car or in a side room before your appointment to reduce risk of infection to other patients.
Please give the reception team as much information as you can, so that we have the best chance of identifying whether there is an infection risk before attending the surgery.
